Contact
Email support@hushy.id. A person reads every message.
In the app, open the anonymous conversation and choose Report, or Block to stop new messages from that sender. To report a handle, use the Report link at the bottom of its page or email us the handle.
Reserved handles
First names and official-sounding handles (like company or institution names) need approval. Request one in the app and tell us why it should be yours. Organizations and newsrooms can email us to verify.
Common questions
Can hushy read my messages? No. They're end-to-end encrypted on your phone and we only relay sealed data.
Can someone find out who sent an anonymous message? Not from hushy. We never learn it. Opening the link in Tor Browser hides your IP address even from Cloudflare.
I lost my phone. Your keys lived only on that phone, so its chats can't be recovered. Install hushy again and re-add your contacts.
Where's my web conversation? It's saved in the browser you used. Open your private link to read it somewhere else.
